Yeah, my landlord was trying to blame the crazy utility bills in the winter on all the devices we have plugged in and the single LED light we leave on all the time so we can see in the hall at night. That is after I showed him the math and the utility bills and explained that nothing we had plugged in or turned on could possibly use that much power.

Also totally agree with this, no freaking way the math can work out in a way that my 200sq ft house is responsible for a 400 bill. I'm in Arizona btw.

Anyone else get absolutely crushed by their electric bill this month? the 2026 rate hikes are brutal

I have heard that the problem is that the power utilities are increasing capital expenditure to accommodate all the increased demand by data centers, and so those costs get brought to consumers as increased delivery fees.

My bill dropped from $340 to $185 in the first month. Best investment I've made this year.

Same here! Mine went from $410 to $235. I was skeptical at first but the numbers don't lie.

Ordered two of them for my house. One for each floor. My husband thought I was crazy but after seeing the first bill he's already asking if we should get a third one for the garage.

I'm an electrician and I can confirm this is legit. Power factor correction is a real thing. Commercial buildings have been doing this for decades. Finally something for homeowners.
